Valentine’s Day – The followup

Oh ye bright and sunny morning, what promise of a wonderful day have ye brought with? On to my love, my new powerhorse Computer! C2D baby! I spent the waking moments building the machine, taking my merry time with it, and seating every component. It is ready and will be plugged in, as soon as the other computer is finished with file transfers. This new system should be a monster in comparison. I shall of course put up the benchmarking results as soon as I have them ready, on here. The case is a wee too bling bling for my liking, but alienware cases usually do fit that mould. The Kennisnet have finally responded. Francis forwarded their mail to us, this morning. Things seem finally starting to pull together. Though the response wasn’t that enthusiastic, we hope that with further elaboration of our aims and objectives from this resonance group meeting we would be able to generate some interest for participation or at the very least, for online questionnaires. There is a tremendous backlog of things to-do, things that i shall be systematically addressing in this long weekend coming-up. Need to make my proposal crisper, and go through the literature to prepare myself for the first journal article in the internal Dagstuhl. In addition I need to bring myself up to speed on the IMS Enterprise v1.0 specification, not to mention, brush up on my IMSLD specification knowledge, knowing that once Daniel leaves I am the resident IMSLD expert at the OU. Brr – better get started…
