Valentine’s Day

Holy toledo, so I pulled an all nighter to fix my computer woes, and lo n behold at 10:00 AM there was a ring ring at my door, and who do I find there? The DHL guy! W00t, the components are here! Can’t wait till the day is done for me to start assembling the PC! And mother of all that’s good and pure, I found that the Gigabyte board they sent me is a Rev. 3.3 and not 2.0 as I expected! Awesome! Mmmm I am just looking at the C2D box on my desktop, ever so beautiful! I so wanna rip it open and start assembling my Alienware computer But alas must work!

In other news, the namesake dropped by with iets lekkers! Namely Waffles. Refused coffee though. Ezel Was nice to chat with him, talking about all the random things that we usually indulge in.

Surely you guys have been asking me, what happens to my old PC now. It is no behemoth of a PC, even though the specs aren’t half bad. But it will get relegated as a Server/BitTorrent client. I shall put up an illustration of the setup later this evening, once I get Visio 2007 running. Any ideas on which OS I should run on it? Lemme make this clear, no flavor of linux is gonna touch this system of mine So anything other than Linux please. I am leaning towards MSW2K3 – File Server, though it might be overkill… XP might just do the trick, but I dun wanna be rebooting my PC all the time… I wanna leave it on for extended periods of time, without worrying about performance! Anyways, that is a later concern. Let’s first get the new Conf up and running!
